Her paintings are ultimately not clear-cut while maintaining a sense of openness and mystery. Brush strokes balance between signaling some kind of spirit or cosmic landscape and dissolution into abstraction. She gives the painted sign autonomy, which makes it seem that it takes on a dramatic meaning. This ambiguous feature as well a mystical atmosphere, she tries to create in her paintings.

 

The acts of the magician, meditator, or artist coincide in this same point: being present in the moment and then allowing it to be the infinitely small essence of that moment expanded and expressed its whole macrocosm. The universe pulsates in its reality, and the artist does an honor, a privilege, the burden of grasping this living beat. Creating art is the act of following every momentary spark and expressing it in exact form, a color, line or subject that is somehow and forever “right”.
