The Artists of the NFT Vernissage

Karolina Dryps

Born June 8, 1984 in Katowice. She is a graduate graphic design at the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology and multimedia department of Academy of Art in Szczecin. Her works have been exhibited at solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.

Karolina Dryps – Her paintings are ultimately not clear-cut while maintaining a sense of openness and mystery. Brush strokes balance between signaling some kind of spirit or cosmic landscape and dissolution into abstraction. She gives the painted sign autonomy, which makes it seem that it takes on a dramatic meaning. This ambiguous feature as well a mystical atmosphere, she tries to create in her paintings.

The acts of the magician, meditator, or artist coincide in this same point: being present in the moment and then allowing it to be the infinitely small essence of that moment expanded and expressed its whole macrocosm. The universe pulsates in its reality, and the artist does an honor, a privilege, the burden of grasping this living beat. Creating art is the act of following every momentary spark and expressing it in exact form, a color, line or subject that is somehow and forever “right”.

Rene Holm

Rene Holm is a visual artist, who originates from Denmark, like other celebrated artists such as Vibeke Johannessen, Kehnet Nielsen, Lise Kaltoft, De Las Heras, and Anne Langgaard.

About Rene Holm’s work

Rene Holm’s work is grounded in figuration. Figurative art can simply be understood as art that involves strong references to the real world, or to the human figure. Often considered as the polar opposite of Abstraction, figurative art can nonetheless remain incredibly stimulating and ground-breaking, since it includes a significant number of approaches to represent the chosen object or figure. The variety of style in figurative art is immense, and spans across Paul Cézanne’s bathers to Jean-Michel Basquiat’s neo-expressionist paintings.
